TRavel with Sterling

Sterling's philosophy is to offer small group tours for independent people who would not consider a regimented 45 passenger coach tour.

We use first class hotels with local character, and offer exclusive private visits to places you could not see on your own. Our guests enjoy meeting the owners of private gardens and appreciate the special meals featuring local cuisine.

We pay attention to detail, we care about our clients, and it shows! One recent tour included 90% repeat guests. Our customers are gardeners, professional landscape designers, and people who just appreciate looking at beautiful things.

Sterling offers garden tours all over the world. Current departures include Santa Fe, San Miguel de Allende, Morocco, Savannah & Charleston, Sicily, Portugal, and Japan.  To join our mailing list, click here.

February 12-18 2022

San Miguel de Allende is a city that manages to be both quaint and cosmopolitan at the same time. Once an important stop on the silver route between Zacatecas and Mexico City, its historic center is filled with well-preserved buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. With its narrow cobblestone streets, leafy courtyards, fine architectural details, and sumptuous interiors, San Miguel de Allende is arguably the prettiest town in Mexico.
